It's All Good

Happy Good Friday!

Today's DC Trifecta Friday Five topic is Five Good Things.

 OK--Let the Good Times Roll!

It's All Good

I have a coworker that says this hundreds of times a day.  I do appreciate the sentiment.  After dealing with difficult customers, I'm thankful she can maintain this attitude.  We should probably all take this approach to alleviate stress.  I admit it typically drives me a little insane after a while, but I think I'll let it slide today. After all, it's all good...

A Good Fit

I've never purchased much Reebok running apparel, maybe a pair of shorts or a tank.  But, I found this on the clearance rack at Dick's.  It feels heavenly.  It is so soft and comfortable under the arms!  And, it's so easy to get on and off.  This is the only color they had in my size (at least on sale - I don't pay full price for anything).  I've got to keep my eyes peeled for another.

This is good!
Good To The Last Drop

It's no secret I love coffee.  I've always been a huge Fivebucks fan (cough - I mean Starbucks), but I must confess the last two special order lattes I purchased (what I call The Ho) were not good.  No kidding, I paid five dollars to drink large hot milks.  Were the shots of espresso left out?  Did they change the recipe?

I think I'll stick with my home brewed Dark Magic K-Cups with Coffeemate Peppermint Mocha creamer for a while.  Thankfully, it's no longer a seasonal item and a staple in my refrigerator.  This coffee is also a very satisfying Onebucks.

Mr. Goodbar

This has always been a favorite for my kids to find in their Easter baskets or Christmas stockings.  My 5 year old grandson will one get one too.  However, my brand new beautiful baby granddaughter will have to wait until she's older.  We'll have so much fun grilling, hunting Easter Eggs, and rocking (actually porch swinging) the baby in our backyard this weekend!

Tell Me Something Good (Tell Me, Tell Me, Tell Me)

Yes, this is obviously a song...but it's also a radio segment where a trio of Nashville DJs each report a good news story every morning.  {Why does the media only report bad news anyway?}  We should adopt this in our own lives.  Say something good about someone else.  Do a Good Deed.  Kindness matters.  Speaking of Nashville, the show itself and the music on the TV show are Good Stuff.

Tell Me Something Good!

I truly hope you enjoy your Easter weekend.

  1. I love coffee creamer. I pack the travel ones so I have them for my trips. I had no idea they offered that flavor regularly and not just seasonal. I wonder if pumpkin is going to be all yr too. -L

    1. Pumpkin is my second favorite but they pulled it from the shelves not long ago. I hope it makes a reappearance in the fall.

  7. Sounds like you have a wonderful Easter weekend ahead of you! I'm trying hard to adopt the "it's all good" attitude at work! And LOL on the five-bucks! I've never heard it called that before but I'm totally stealing in! :)

  9. Mr. Goodbar...ahhhh! Delicious! I love those little Mini Cadbury eggs that only come out around Easter - GAH! So good! I have a 10K tomorrow and then Mexican food with friends for lunch, so that's definitely a good thing! Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

    1. Sometimes, they can be hard to find except in miniature form. I'm trying to stay away from all Easter candy. Happy Easter.

  10. What? Your HO came up short?? So disappointing. I just had an iced latte yesterday that was pretty darn good. I'm such a sucker to their gold card and star dashes. I'll jump thru hoops for free drinks. I'll have to check out that bra. Sounds great!

    1. Yep, The Ho has been disappointing. I do like their iced lattes in warm weather so it's about time to make that switch. It was 89 degrees here today. Blech.

  12. I've had that happen at Starbucks a few times before where it tasted like they forgot the shot of espresso. That is definitely disappointing!

  13. I'm done too with longer runs. 5k's are about it now until September. Not a coffee drinker but I do love the bra and color but what I like even more is getting a GOOD deal on things! I too don't pay retail for much, I'm frugal to the point it drives my husband crazy sometimes, but hey someone has to watch the money right? It is GOOD your getting to enjoy those grandbabies. Happy Easter to you and your family! :)

    1. I am signed up for one more half in April and if the weather is still cool, maybe another. But that will be it for a while. I love a GOOD DEAL (Shoot I left that one out.) Have a great Easter weekend.

  14. No, no, no! I don't like nuts in my chocolate ;-) I also hate to pay full price. Even 10% off doesn't get my attention!

    1. 10% off is not enough for me either! I love the racks with 50% off, plus an additional 20%, etc. Chocolate is good without nuts too! LOL.

  16. I love Reebok's fitness apparel! It seems that they are a little bit off of the radar screen. But, I have a pair of Reebok running tights, several pairs of Reebok running shorts and tanks, and Reebok running socks - and they are amongst my favorites! Anytime I see a Reebok outlet store, I always stop in. =)

  17. I don't think I have any Reebok apparel, That is a pretty bra though.
I like whip cream in my coffee in the morning. I am all out this morning though :( so plain ol milk it is .
Full price is so overrated, everything goes on sale eventually especially running shoes! I just picked up a pair I had been wanting for a long time for only 35! LOVE IT!

    1. You can't beat 35 for running shoes. That's like the best deal ever! I had amaretto creamer this morning. It was pretty good too.

  18. Aw love the Bobby Bones show! Totally sang that in my head when I read it haha! Yeah, some of my Starbucks experiences have been less than stellar lately which is a bummer. I like their iced coffee though, and cold drink season is finally approaching!
