Friday Favorites

HAPPY FRIDAY.  I'm linking up today with the DC Trifecta for Friday Five.  Today's theme is Friday Favorites.   Actually, Friday itself is a favorite {Captain Obvious} as I'm usually getting excited about racing the next day.  But other than Fridays, these are just 5 oh so random favorite things.

Thanks to this, my geriatric issues are all but gone!

Paradise in a cup.  My favorite mug too.

Thanks to Eat Pray Run DC, You Signed Up For What?!, & Mar on the Run! for hosting the Friday Five.

Please tell me!  What's a random favorite thing of yours?  I'd like to hear from you.

    1. This brand is very good. I've been known to add milk if it's too thick. (I guess rum would be better!)

  5. I love peppermint hot chocolate this time of year. Warm puppies are nice too!

    1. Try half milk and half egg nog...it still tastes good but cuts the calories! Love Starbucks and NYC!

  7. I had managed to forget about Eggnog so far... But I may see a trip to the store for me today, LOL But on the plus side I like to mix only 1/3 eggnog to either milk or Sprite. Probably not so healthy with the Sprite, but oh well:)

    1. I mix my eggnog with milk too! It still tastes very good and saves on a few calories. But, I guess that depends on how much you drink.

  9. I love the Starbucks mugs but Dallas doesn't really have anything exciting. Of course I realized that two years ago when I did a half in Dallas. I realized my city's rather boring.

    1. I bought it on my last trip to NYC over 6 years ago. I need to get back! I've been to Dallas...not boring at all!

  11. Random favorite ? Living in a city where I can walk every where and see people I know on the street, at the market, at the local café. Sense of community !

  12. Adorable dogs! I love cuddling with mine, especially in the winter :) I've also just been introduced to Justin's and I'm in love, especially with the chocolate hazelnut butter. YUM.

  13. I love Hershey's milk chocolate nuggets. They're like crack, really. I keep them in the freezer. They are so good, if I eat them frozen, then I don't eat as many. Weird, but it works!

  14. Mmmm. The name Hershey's brings up the most pleasant memories. Its not Christmas without Kisses.

  15. I haven't used a foam roller in forever, but it always hurts so good when I do! :P Maple almond butter sounds delicious! I've only tried their regular one so far!

Thanks so much for running the Holiday Health & Fitness Giveaway! :]

  17. I am in complete agreement with you on the Southern Comfort eggnog! I haven't purchased any yet because we all know that as soon as I open it, all self control flies out the window! It's a must have, though, for Christmas Eve.

  19. Adorable doggies! And I do love that almond butter - I haven't bought it since we found out about my son's tree nut allergies and miss it! Much more than peanut butter.

    1. Agree. It's so much better than PB. So many kids have nut allergies. You have to be very careful.

  20. I also love my foam roller! Im not really fan of eggnog- but vanilla spice sounds like it would be a good flavor!

  21. Thanks, they are sweet. I think I was nodding off last night before you!

  22. I checked out this post (and a few other posts) after landing on your Holiday Health and Fitness Blog Hop. I love the Club cornbread crackers--have you tried the jalapeno version? I use these over saltines. Foam rollers are on my list of equipment I want.

    1. Thanks for stopping by! I have tried the jalapeño, actually by mistake. I popped it in my mouth with the maple butter. LOL. They don't go very well with that, but are good with others things!
